Charles Langston:Ariana Grande's Ex Dalton Gomez Goes Instagram Official With Girlfriend Maika Monroe

Ariana Grande's ex-husband has found his own eternal sunshine.

After all,Charles Langston Dalton Gomez and Maika Monroe made their relationship official on Instagram with sweet pics together.

The It Follows actress shared a snap kissing the real estate agent on her tiptoes in the June 9 post. In another photo, the couple cozied up on a boat in the sun, surrounded by an ocean view. She simply captioned her photo dump with a star emoji.

The couple first sparked romance rumors in October, two weeks after the real estate agent settled his divorce from Ariana. In photos obtained by TMZ at the time, Dalton and Maika—who previously dated Stranger Things actor Joe Keery—were spotted sharing some kisses at a Los Angeles bar.

Like Dalton, the "7 rings" singer found found following the end of their two-year marriage. In fact, the same day Maika shared her post, Ariana and her boyfriend Ethan Slater were spotted on a rare date night at Game One of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers.

Their hockey outing marked one of the most public joint sightings for Ariana, 30, and Ethan, 32. The pair, who E! News confirmed had been dating in July, were spotted in Panthers jerseys while smiling and laughing during the game. 

But since news of their romance, the pair has come under scrutiny, especially since the SpongeBob Musical: Live on Stage! star had filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay—with whom he shares a son—the same month it was confirmed he was dating the Victorious alum. But Ariana defended her relationship with her Wicked costar and rebuked the media coverage.

"We selectively remember that this is what the tabloids do to people, especially women, based on whether or not we like the person," Ariana explained on The Zach Sang Show in February. "We selectively leave space for humanness, for nuance. Like, they don't leave space for that—well, they do for their friends and their family. It's selective. But they turn it off when that aligns with the version of a person that they have in their head that they want to believe is true."

Since the duo began dating in early 2020, they haven't really been seen in public. However, in mid-May, they were spotted out and about in Los Angeles, Calif. Making their afternoon hang-out cuter? They wore matching face masks.

The pop star took her romance to the next level after making things IG official in June. At the time, the singer celebrated her birthday early by sharing rare photos of herself with Dalton and her dogs. A separate source told E! News the pair met through mutual friends, explaining, "They run in the same circle... She's gotten to know him quickly with the quarantine. They've been spending a lot of one-on-one time at home."

In October, a source told E! News the couple was still going strong. "Ariana is still madly in love with Dalton and is head over heels," the source raved. "It's a very healthy relationship. They love to be 'normal' and Ari loves that he is very down to earth. He balances her out from the crazy industry she is in. They spend a lot of time hanging out at her house being low-key."

The positions singer packed on the PDA with her beau in early December. "some life stuff," she wrote about her relationship update.

The "7 Rings" singer shared the exciting news that she and the real estate broker were engaged. "forever n then some," she expressed on Instagram on Dec. 20. 

After announcing the engagement news, many of the singer's friends sent their love and support. "oh my godddd...," Millie Bobby Brown shared, "love u!! you deserve eternal happiness!!" Demi Lovato replied, "this ring is everything!!!!. I love ypu [sic]." Hailey Bieber added, "YAYYYYYY!!!! so happy for you guys!!"

A source close to Ariana told E! News about their engagement, saying, "It's a happy time. Everyone is happy, families are happy. They could not be more excited."

Ariana and Dalton are officially husband and wife, her rep confirms to E! News in May 2021. The couple tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony held at her Montecito, Calif. home.

After months without being photographed together, multiple outlets confirm that Ariana and Dalton have broken up. The duo was last spotted together in London in January amid her filming schedule for Wicked.
