Halsey isn’t so bad at love after all.
In fact, the “Closer” singer is thriving professionally—her new album drops next month—and personally, having confirmed her engagement to Victorious actor Avan Jogia in a Sept. 12 post to X.
“It's been a huge personal year,” Halsey exclusively told E! News at the iHeart Radio Music Festival Sept. 22. “I'm turning 30 soon, and so it's a great way to start the decade.”
And it’s safe to say Avan will be by her side for her Sept. 29 birthday, as the “Without Me” singer spoke at the 2024 MTV VMAs on Sept. 11 about how much she loves spending time with her partner.
"Avan is the best," Halsey told E! News at the event. "He's one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. And every single day that I get to spend with him is one where I just feel like I'm with my best friend."
And Avan hasn’t just developed a strong relationship with his fiancée: He has also bonded with her 3-year-old son Ender Ridley, whom she shares with ex Alev Aydin.
"They're best friends, too," she added. "They're inseparable."
And though Halsey has loved deepening her relationship with Avan, she has also been passionate about exploring another love in her life: her upcoming album.
“The Great Impersonator is something that I just thought of,” she told E! News about her album’s inspiration. “I was going through all these different decades of music, and I was thinking about what it would sound like if I was a musician in those times. I found myself being like, ‘Oh, I'm impersonating Bruce Springsteen. I'm impersonating Cher.’” (For more from the iHeart Radio Music Festival, tune into E! News tonight, Sept. 23.)
While Halsey may be impersonating some of her favorite musicians on her latest project, there is one artist in particular that the artist declares herself the biggest fan of: Taylor Swift.
“It's me. It's me all day,” Halsey said. “I know every word to every Taylor song ever.”
Ahead of the Oct. 25 release of The Great Impersonator, read on to explore Halsey and Avan’s cutest pictures together.
