It's been over two years since Taylor Frankie Paul blew up the #MomTok community by revealing the "soft swinging" going on between some of its members.
But the TikToker only has one major regret about sparking the sex scandal that rocked her Utah-based friend group of Mormon influencers and led to her divorce from Tate Paul.
"I wish I would have done things differently," The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star exclusively told E! News. "Going back to my marriage, I wish I wouldn't have hurt my ex."
That said, the controversy gained Taylor worldwide attention—and millions of social media followers.
"I feel like we're here today because of it," 30-year-old noted, "and I'm the person that I am today because of it."
After Taylor and Tate—who share kids Indy and Ocean—broke up in 2022, she found love with boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. However, she was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after an altercation with Dakota last year. (She later pleaded guilty to aggravated assault before reaching a plea deal in the case.)
"That was definitely our rock bottom, my rock bottom for sure," Taylor—who welcomed son Ever with Dakota earlier this year—reflected. "He stood by me with that because he knew everything going on behind closed doors. That was a horrible night and I'm full of regret. Dakota has been at rock bottom himself, so he could totally relate. He was like, 'I want to help you out of this.'"
"We're good today," the reality star added. "We've learned a lot we're still working through things and therapy. It's not perfect, but it's a lot better for sure."
As for where the Mormon #MomTok community stands today, fans will see the friend group drama play out on their new Hulu reality series.
"I feel like it's pretty messy," Taylor teased. "#MomTok was very big group and once that hit the fan, everyone kind of split up into their own thing, whether it be like 'we had nothing to do with this' or 'we're not this person.'"
And to anyone who distanced themselves from her after the scandal, Taylor noted, "Now, they're all gonna be watching the show wishing they stayed."
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premieres Sept. 6 on Hulu. And keep reading to meet the entire cast.
